I had a whole house to myself, and it was in an area that was super quiet - perfect if you are looking for some peace and quiet! The house itself is very spacious and also very, very clean. The bed was very comfortable and it was wonderful to fall asleep listening to the sound of the waves lapping onto the shore. The view in the morning was incredible - easily the best view on the Lake. Nicolas the owner was very friendly and helpful - for example, he gave me the phone number of a local tuk-tuk rider that I used during my time there. Nicolas, thank you for making my stay so comfortable!

It has had UV light installation by the kitchen to prevent mosquitoes. The location on the lake was great and near the docks for views of the volcanoes. Highly recommend.

We liked how it was quiet at night being just a just short walk outside of the "downtown" but very close (5-10 minute walk) to everything in San Marcos. The property was spacious, the house was well stocked with kitchen gear, and having the kayaks available was nice, as was the filtered water. Great views in the evening from the deck, and the upper balconies were a great place to read or catch some sun. We also appreciated the extra towels for use at the lake.
