Eddy, the host has a lot of knowledge he can share because he grew up there. The room has views over the horce racing track. It’s very clean and comfortable.

The owners are incredibly kind and love their dogs (and puppies!) - dog lovers will feel right at home here. There’s no AC, but the cool nights made it perfectly comfortable. The Wi-Fi runs on Starlink, so the connection was strong. And the food… absolutely amazing - probably the best we had in all of Sumba! Don’t miss their famous lobster soup!

I loved that Erlin provided out of this world service. She was so prompt and available always! She helped us with transportation and guidance on what to do as far of tours. She made sure we were safe and had everything we needed in the villa. She is a great human being and she's also very organized and reliable. Again, she went beyond anything I would have ever expected. Highly recommend.

Em Rua, apenas a 17 minutos a pé de Rua Beach, Morika Villa fornece acomodações com uma piscina exterior, um terraço, um bar e acesso Wi-Fi gratuito. O Staff absolutamente incrível. Ajudou a organizar um jantar de aniversário surpresa e superaram todas as expetativas. Estava tudo delicioso e foi mágico. O local tem uma vista magnífica, os quartos são super confortáveis e limpos, muita privacidade e tranquilidade. Apenas 2 edificios com 2 quartos cada, entre cada 2 quartos há uma sala de estar com cozinha. É possivel fazer as refeições neste espaço ou no restaurante (comida excelente). Todos os quartos com vista para o mar e nascer do sol soberbo, bastou abrir a janela e nem foi necessário sair da cama para assistir a um verdadeiro espectáculo da natureza. É possível descer umas escadas com acesso exclusivo à praia. A melhor estadia em Sumba e das melhores estadias na Indonésia.

The house and its surroundings ware absolutely magnificent. Great bed, and a view to die for. Jungle vibes all around. Very clean, very comfortable and spaceous. The swiming pool is picture perfect, albeit not very big. Great knowledgeable host who is very friendly and helpful. You can have excellent freshly cooked breakfast and dinner in the house, prepared by wonderful Femi. We had an amzing time and couldn't stop taking pictures and video's of the house and the view :-) Too bad we stayed only 2 nights.

Very friendly, inviting and welcoming family. Irwan helps out planning your stay and can arrange everything for you. Ernesta is a great cook and dancer, and their 2 kids are a joy! We visited the “hobbit cave”, the Ramenese lake and did the flyingfox zipline and the traditional market at Ruteng. And to top it all off we where invited to a local wedding party 🥳!! How special is that! We loved staying with this beautiful family.
