It was private. It had all the facilities needed. We had a lovely walk by the country road and also discovered a river. We did not meet staff but was we had prompt responses to messages. We loved it so much we would have to visit again.

Wow - what a great place to stay for three nights just outside of Galway! The owner, Jacqueline, could not have been anymore accommodating. She was so nice and even provided us w/ an extra gift for my 50th birthday. We arrived to a beautiful Irish oasis with a wonderful view and a welcome basket. Our family enjoyed the short walk to the sea and the amazing seascapes. I can’t say enough about this cottage, it’s charm and the owner’s hospitality. If you are looking for a traditional Ireland experience then this is the place for you!

Clifden and the surrounding area are beautiful with lots to do nearby. It was a lovely stay!

She made us so welcome and had the fire lit for us coming home on a cold day out. The house was fantastic and so homely .I would recommend this location to everyone. We had a brilliant few days staying there and will definitely be going back again.

They helped in an unexpected situation and washed our clothes. They also drove us to the port in Cleggab when we didn't have a car. Very helpful! Our son liked the chickens and also children's bed linen.
