The Apartment was beautiful, comfortable, featured plenty of windows to enjoy the stunning view of the lake in front and the mountain in the back. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you need, there is even a laundry machine. The location is perfect, right next to Dimmuburgir, Hverir, the cave and of course the lake which benefited us with a beautiful sunset from the kitchen. It wasn't so cheap but worth the money.

We loved our stay at Svartaborg. The design of the house is stunning and a wonderfully peaceful environment with a lot of privacy. The view from the window was truly spectacular. The location is ideal if you want to visit Lake Myvatn, Godafoss, Akureyri or Husavik. Our daughter had a broken finger before we arrived at Svartaborg, so we decided to stay in the apartment the next day. That turned out to be the best decision. The apartment was fully equipped for cooking and entertainment, allowing us to rest comfortably. The owner provided clear instructions for finding the house, and it was easy to locate, even when arriving after dark. He also helped us with any questions we had. We hope to visit Iceland again and will definitely return!

We chose this place for the night before heading back to Reykjavik and it was the best decision ever! The house is big and spacious. Kitchen and common area is wide enough for everyone. Have all the kitchenware you need. The house even comes with washing machine and dryer. Rooms and bed are comfy. The host is very responsive and provided us the detailed instruction of how to check in much in advance. We find no problem to find the place. It is a really small, but peaceful and quiet town. But we enjoy our time here very much.

Overlooking the Akureyri Fjord, Viking Cottages Akureyri is located 7 km from central Akureyri. All cottages include free WiFi access, a well-equipped kitchen and a private terrace. It was absolutely fantastic. The cottage was clean and very comfortable. It felt like a luxury just being there. The hot tub and the view were amazing. I absolutely loved it and would definitely book it again

The old farmhouse was quaint and delightful! I enjoyed the hot tub and a nice sauna as well. The farmhouse is quite well equipped with Bluetooth audio a full kitchen, kettle and coffee maker. My stay was very comfortable. I would book again 100%! I must also share that the communication from the owner Barnji was fantastic. He is an engaging fellow and I regret that I didn’t have more time to chat before my scheduled whale watch on departure day.
