We received a nice treat from the host. It feels like more than a house; it feels like 'home.' The facilities, especially the kitchen, are excellent. Everything is clean, and the bed is so comfy. We had a great night here.

The Apartment was beautiful, comfortable, featured plenty of windows to enjoy the stunning view of the lake in front and the mountain in the back. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you need, there is even a laundry machine. The location is perfect, right next to Dimmuburgir, Hverir, the cave and of course the lake which benefited us with a beautiful sunset from the kitchen. It wasn't so cheap but worth the money.

Nearest grocery stores are in Akureyri which is 15min or so away.

Overlooking the Akureyri Fjord, Viking Cottages Akureyri is located 7 km from central Akureyri. All cottages include free WiFi access, a well-equipped kitchen and a private terrace. It was absolutely fantastic. The cottage was clean and very comfortable. It felt like a luxury just being there. The hot tub and the view were amazing. I absolutely loved it and would definitely book it again
