Exceptionally clean with everything that you could possibly need. Beautifully decorated. A large patio with an incredible view over the Apuan Alps and Apennines. We received a very warm welcome from Alessandras parents who showed us around the property. A beautiful homemade cake was waiting for us in the lodge. The pool was wonderful with the same exceptional views. There is so much to do in this area. The fascinating medieval town of Pontremoli was within half an hours drive and the port of La Spezia and the towns of Massa and Carrara with their sandy beaches and famous marble quarries were also easily reached by car, as was the Cinque Terre. There were many restaurants nearby, including a lovely local authentic restaurant, just a minutes walk from the property. The best thing, though, about our short time at the lodge was the wonderful Alessandra and her lovely family who went out of their way to look after us and make us feel totally at home and part of their family. A truly unforgettable experience. We will definitely be back.

The place is absolutely beautiful—spacious, spotlessly clean, and tastefully decorated with everything we needed. The private pool overlooking the castle is an absolute gem and truly made our stay special. Being right in the heart of the village, in the pedestrian zone, added a real charm and made it very safe and stress-free for the kids.

There is also a dishwasher and a laundry machine. The ceilings are super high, like 3.5 meters, like a villa. Full kitchen setup meant for long term stays and use. I'm not sure if that will normally be offered, but we got a few snacks and welcome drinks in the fridge. Thank You. The place is brand new and equipped with stylish finishes. There is a great little fruit and vegetables/grocery store that is within walking distance. Overall improved our holiday.
