It is a modern, bright house with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The view of the valley was simply breathtaking! The accommodation is located on a small road on the mountain with about 20 min drive from Castellamare. The last few meters are a gravel road that you have to drive carefully, but otherwise no problem. We received a very warm welcome and the first time we were even accompanied up from the valley by our hosts to hand over the keys. The kitchen is very well equipped (coffee machine, dishwasher, toaster, pans, pots, oil etc) and we cooked several evenings. The rooms were very spacious and the two bathrooms were large enough. The two bedrooms upstairs each have a balcony. The bedroom downstairs has direct access to the terrace. There was also a washing machine, garden furniture, a charcoal grill and air conditioning in all bedrooms and in the kitchen/dining room. Our hosts were lovely. We got lots of tips for excursions from them and had good communication throughout via messages in Italian and English. They even welcomed us with local pastries, mandarins, oranges, lemons and wine. They were always available for questions and we got our small deposit back at the end without any problems after the handover. All in all, the accommodation was a lucky find. We felt very comfortable and didn't want to leave again in the beautiful sunshine.

The house "Where the sun rises" was the perfect accommodation for our family in terms of strategic location, security and equipments. We were very close to the sea (2min by car) and the panoramic view is breathtaking, especially the sunrise!! We highly recommend it! Thanks a lot to Maria Giancarlo for their hospitality and kindness.

We loved the view from the front patio property. We ate out there a couple of times and it was lovely. We also enjoyed walking into Scopello. We loved visiting the Torre and swimming in the crystal clear water. Unfortunately the nature reserve was closed due to a fire, or we would have spent time there also.

Fabulous villa with great pool and facilities but difficult to find initially. Borgo Aranci needed to be in the postal address. Comfy beds and bbq. Quiet surroundings and nice garden.

Beautiful place with a feeling of secret bedroom i.e. the old part of the building had a smaller door. The bedroom leads to a lovely courtyard/garden. Very clean and comfortable room. The kitchen is well equipped Near scopello and 7 min walk to Guidaloca pebble beach. Not far away from Castellamare.

The garden really is exceptionally lovely and beautifully kept. The view is absolutely incredible at all times of day, you have a choice of four tables to sit at, one under shade in the outdoor kitchen perfect for lunch, one outdoors nice for the evening, one under a lovely vanilla tree perfect for morning coffee, and one on the porch which would have been good for a card game if we had got round to using it! Plus you have the sun-loungers by the small pool. Inside is perfectly comfortable and easy to use - we slept well and appreciated items left as pepper, salt, olive oil, toilet paper etc so you don’t have to bring everything for a short stay. Communication was good and we felt very at home.
