Close to everything yet not in the middle. You will hear normal traffic noise from the street but I slept fine. The host was really nice and helped me with my ridiculously large suitcases. He also took it upon himself to drive me to the ferry port in the morning. Very nice man. You have a restaurant and a bakery right below and ATMs (cash machines) just steps away.
