Due to a train strike we were stuck in Sienna and on contacting the owner he advised which bus would should take and then arranged for us to be picked up. This was very much appreciated after a long day. He then arranged for us to be taken to the next town where we were staying.

The town itself is very quaint and has some excellent restaurants and there are amazing views all around. I was there with a group of 4 and we took over both apartments, upstairs and downstairs, which was really fun, it felt like we could really move in. This is an incredibly quiet and sleepy town, so no concerns about noise at night. I would recommend this location for people who would like to visit Montepulciano / Siena and the surrounding area, but don't want to stay in a heavily touristic town, but also want to be in a spot where they can walk to dinner (Ristorante Daria was excellent, for example, and just down the road). For those who like it quiet and peaceful, this is a really great location for this area.
