Very disappointing and not caring staff, close to being rude. We felt not welcome. The village is empty and the Noto peninsula cost is a jewel destroyed by the earthquake.
awesome stay at very nice hosts. beautiful little fishing village, you need to eat sushi and drink sake at the local sushi restaurant (sakae sushi) and try fugu at the harbor. the b&b is awesomely designed and very functional. free rent of a bike to explore the village
Great hotel right in the center of Kanazawa! It seemed quite new and had a luxury vibe to it, while not being really expensive. The breakfast was also really worth it and very good, with japanese and western style choices to choose from on the buffet.
Hotel of high Japanese aesthetic with beautiful rooms and common areas. Combines modern and traditional features. Serene, clean and tidy. The staff were very sweet and hospitable and offered snacks upon arrival. In the room we were welcomed with Japanese tea, cardigans and pajamas. We particularly enjoyed the special tatami floor for enjoying morning tea, and the spacious and luxurious bathroom. The bed was also very comfortable. We highly recommend it!!
What a beautiful hotel. Very stylish and luxurious. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The location is fantastic and the breakfast one of the best we’ve ever enjoyed!
The location and being able to wander around the village with no one around .
The people there were exceptional. Very warm and attentive atmosphere. Bus service to Kutani Village was wonderful.
The rooms were beautifully designed and the furnishings were luxurious. The staff were professional and very pleasant, the location was good for visiting the castle and gardens.
It was my first stay at a ryokan and an absolutely great experience. Great location, an awesome room with a comfy bed, a mini onsen in the basement. But the best was the host, Mr. Bungo, he was extremely friendly, helpful and patient. His English proficiency is exceptional and he really knows his city and surrounding area well. Especially the village of Shirakawa ;-)
Everything was perfect with the Hotel Nikko Kanazawa. Great location, fantastic staff, modern luxurious rooms and a delicious buffet breakfast with lots of variety. Great value for money considering we stayed in Luxury rooms.
