It is near 3 train stations Shijo-Omiya, Nijo station and Nijojo-mae station (all under 1KM walk). Shinsenen-mae bus stop is only 100m away. There are many nice eateries around with many large supermarkets, LIFE at Nijo station, Seiyu Sanjo (300m) away as well as Fresco (300m) away. The apartment is also sparkly clean and new unlike some of the comments from the past. The staff at the counter were great and super responsive. There is a folder on the instructions to operate the appliances in the apartment. The coffee capsules given were superb, better than some of those stall bought coffee. We checked in in the evening and was able to enter the apartment without any help. The management sent a detailed video on how to operate the digital key lock prior to check in. The pricing of this apartment was pricey but worth every penny. Will certainly recommend to our friends and family!

Kyoto Villa Fuka er et overnatningssted med 2 stjerner der ligger kun 13 minutters gang fra Kyoto Station og har en god beliggenhed i centrum af Kyoto. Perfect location as we were only in Kyoto for 3 nights, the house was only 5 minutes walk from Kyoto station. Easy to wheel our bags to, very convenient to get to metro and suburban train lines for sightseeing and for arriving and leaving from Kyoto by Shinkansen. A charming, traditional style house that was a nice contrast to the very modern apt we stayed at in Tokyo. We loved the large sleeping room upstairs, tatami mats covering the floor, with 3 very comfortable, firm mattresses with duvets on the tatami mats. The bedroom is accessed by a very steep staircase, but there is a very strong wall rail and we had no problems, as we're all pretty lithe and fit. Also, sleeping at the floor level was not a problem for us. Beautiful decorated in the traditional manner. AC on both floors. Bathroom was small but adequate, and we loved the tiny enclosed garden out the back. The kitchen facilities were great and we loved the large wooden dining table and chairs. Communication with the owner was easy, responsive and friendly. They did us a nice courtesy letting us leave our bags in the small laundry area after checkout time as our train didn't leave till 4 hours later. I highly recommend.

The apartment is cosy and has everything you may need. It's conveniently located close to metro/bus stations. It was a wonderful stay.
