The location is beautiful and you can truly feel the connection with nature and the relaxed feeling it brings. The ryokan offered a luxurious experience with a delicious Japanese dinner and breakfast option. The staff were more than welcoming and made sure we had everything available. My friend and I stayed here following some friends’ recommendation and we don’t regret it all!
Quiet, incredibly kind and accommodating staff, delicious dinner and breakfast, great location to access walking trails, private Ibsen on site, shuttle service to ferry, beautiful views of Miyajima harbor and village
Absolutely gorgeous self contained villa. Comfortable bed, good shower, lovely outdoor bath. Well stocked self service bar. Simple check in at the ryokan down the hill - friendly service, a great dinner and a good breakfast. Just lovely. I would love to stay here for a week or more.
Location is nice. Suite room was confortable for a family of 4. Room was relatively clean with a luxurious feel (and deceptively for the balcony that had cigarette butts everywhere and dirt from a previous occupant). Full board is self service with great variety of products.
The hotel was expensive but offers a great experiment and the luxury to enjoy Miyajima on the evening, without the crow and enjoy the sunset and sunrise on the island. To room was huge and very clean, the bed very confortable. The hotel have a whole floor dedicated to well-being, with a salon, onsen, exterior pool, rock bath, karaoke room... That you can access anytime on the opening hour. They have also kimono at disposition at the entry, a little shop on the 1st floor.
I don't have words, this is the best Ryokan we have ever seen. The views of the red torii from the window were breathtaking. The room was huge, clean, beautiful and luxury. The staff was so kind, the came to the room, served us a tea, and later on they even prepared the beds for us. The Japanese breakfast was so tasty. We also booked the onsen and it was an incredible experience.
Very luxurious room, complete with a tatami space for relaxing, watch TV, drink some tea (cups, saucers and tea bags provided). Great facilities, including both indoor and outdoor public onsen, free short guided tours in the evening or early morning, and even free bus trips to/from the harbour if you're carrying large luggage. There is a restaurant for dining (breakfast and dinner options) but I didn't use as I did not pre-book in advance.
