Very well equipped and clean rooms. Two bathrooms available. The owner was lovely and super friendly. He organized a transport for us last minute when our pre booked transport was cancelled.

Absolutely clean and cozy homestay owned by a nice family with the cutest baby, one of the best places I have stayed at in Sri Lanka! Nuwara Eliya is very cold but they provide extra warm blankets, the hot water and hair dryer made it a bit easier to bear the cold and heaters are available for an extra fee. It is a bit far from centrum by walking but you can rent a scooter from the owners for a very reasonable price. Highly recommended!

Rooms at the Langdale Boutique Hotel by Amaya recall the Tea Estate era, with dark wooden flooring and classic furniture. They are fitted with satellite TV, a sofa and a tea maker. The property itself was amazing. The building is over 130 years old but excellently maintained. As a boutique hotel it only accommodates up to 11 guests at a time, making it a very homely experience, which we loved. The staff were absolutely excellent, going out of their way to make our stay comfortable. No request was too much, or too little. And we absolutely loved engaging with them. Situated near Nuwara Eliya it boasts some amazing views which we thoroughly enjoyed as we sat down for some tea (and it was some of the best tea we’ve had) or breakfast. As a small boutique hotel, food choices can be somewhat limited but their a’ la carte menu items, in our view, would meet most tastes. The food we ate was excellent quality with pastry items (bread, croissants, cakes etc.) made on the premises. These also were excellent.
