Was a delight to stay here, it is an oasis of calm, beautifully maintained garden, repleat with ponds and lotuses amidst verdent tropical plants. The main house is rather grande, attention to detail is the modus operandi. Rooms are tastefully decorated with comfortable beds, mosquito net, fan and AC, all the mod cons. The hosts are very welcoming and kind hearted, wanting to facilitate above and beyond. Can highly recommend.

Sujeevani Villa is 500 metres from Negombo Beach Park. Fitted with a balcony offering garden views, it also features an outdoor lap pool and complimentary private parking. We loved our stay here. The team led by Milan were kind friendly and courteous. Our room was extra large and the bed sublime. The pool area was cute and clean and a wonderful place to cool off. The gardens were lovely. We enjoyed being away from the chaos of Negombo town. Breakfast was exceptional. The very noisy air conditioner and ceiling fan were the only minor negatives.

Run by a local family, Villa Shade is a charming and peaceful property surrounded by green gardens, just 4 km from Negombo City. Villa Shade is a hidden gem! The property was beautiful with lovely tropical gardens and comfortable rooms (with a fabulous outdoor bathroom). Shiraj was a lovely host who cares deeply about the property and his guests. They have created a beautiful and welcoming atmosphere and even grow an all organic garden on the property! All of the staff was helpful and hospitable during our stay and accommodated a very early morning checkout time- we wished we had more nights to spend at this hotel.

The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and it felt more like staying with friends than at a hotel. The rooms were clean, cozy, and perfect for our family’s needs. Everything was thoughtfully arranged to make us feel comfortable and relaxed during our stay. Each morning, we enjoyed a thoughtful and delicious breakfast, lovingly prepared with a variety of options to suit everyone in the family. The attention to detail and care in each meal was something we truly appreciated. What made our stay truly unforgettable, though, was the incredible kindness and hospitality of the owner’s family. They were always ready to help with anything we needed and went out of their way to make sure we were happy and comfortable. A very special thank you to their beautiful three girls, whose warmth, smiles, and gentle presence made our visit even more memorable. They are a lovely family that we will never forget. The Travellers Rest is more than just a place to stay—it’s a place filled with heart. We’re so grateful for the experience and would absolutely love to return one day.

The villa had everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen, cozy bedrooms, and a peaceful outdoor area. It was the ideal spot to unwind, with just the right mix of privacy and comfort. The staff was helpful and made sure our stay went smoothly from start to finish. If you’re looking for a relaxing escape with great amenities and a beautiful pool, I highly recommend Sun Villa. I’d definitely love to come back!

The property was clean, comfortable, and had all the facilities we needed for a relaxing stay. Even though the host, Mr. Lalith, was unable to be there in person due to an emergency work commitment, he stayed in touch with us throughout. He regularly called to check in and make sure everything was going smoothly, which we really appreciated. His care and attention, even from a distance, made us feel well taken care of. Highly recommend this place for a peaceful and well-managed getaway!
