Upon arrival we were greeted very kindly and we couldn’t ask for more.

Sujeevani Villa is 500 metres from Negombo Beach Park. Fitted with a balcony offering garden views, it also features an outdoor lap pool and complimentary private parking. Everything was great. We stayed only for 1 night because next day we had to depart to Kandy, but we wish we had more days to spend there. Clean, spacious, nice breakfast, and smiley people.

Run by a local family, Villa Shade is a charming and peaceful property surrounded by green gardens, just 4 km from Negombo City. Villa Shade is a hidden gem! The property was beautiful with lovely tropical gardens and comfortable rooms (with a fabulous outdoor bathroom). Shiraj was a lovely host who cares deeply about the property and his guests. They have created a beautiful and welcoming atmosphere and even grow an all organic garden on the property! All of the staff was helpful and hospitable during our stay and accommodated a very early morning checkout time- we wished we had more nights to spend at this hotel.

I had an amazing experience staying at Sun Villa. The property was beautifully maintained, clean, and incredibly comfortable. One of the highlights was definitely the private swimming pool — crystal clear, well-kept, and perfect for both relaxing and having fun in the sun. The villa had everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen, cozy bedrooms, and a peaceful outdoor area. It was the ideal spot to unwind, with just the right mix of privacy and comfort. The staff was helpful and made sure our stay went smoothly from start to finish. If you’re looking for a relaxing escape with great amenities and a beautiful pool, I highly recommend Sun Villa. I’d definitely love to come back!

The property was clean, comfortable, and had all the facilities we needed for a relaxing stay. Even though the host, Mr. Lalith, was unable to be there in person due to an emergency work commitment, he stayed in touch with us throughout. He regularly called to check in and make sure everything was going smoothly, which we really appreciated. His care and attention, even from a distance, made us feel well taken care of. Highly recommend this place for a peaceful and well-managed getaway!

We came as two couples and had a beautiful stay. We felt right at home and were able to dive into the Negombo vibe immediately, thanks in part to the wonderful hosts who checked in on us and met us in person. The sound of the waves at night was so calming, and as fellow islanders, it was a sound we really appreciated. The place had all the basics we needed, and the fridge was super handy for storing all the delicious street fruit we picked up.
