The food was out of this world and the host teaches you how to prepare traditional meals with fresh ingredients from their garden. They were also really helpful in organising and optimising our onward journey to Ella.

Fantastisk indrettet villa med god plads til alle. Vi rejste i en gruppe på 8 personer. Der var dejligt pool og 3 værter i køkkenet under hele opholdet. De var meget venlige og var ikke påtrængende, tvært i mod. Vi fik god morgenmad og fik både grill samt Sri Lanka mad til aftensmad. Begge måltider var fantastiske og anbefalingsværdi. Dejligt at slippe for hotellerne men samtidig have god service og mad.

My stay at Tea Escape was genuinely memorable. The views are stunning and create such a calm, relaxing atmosphere. The food was delicious every day, and you can really taste the care that goes into each dish. The staff were incredibly warm and friendly, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. Everything was spotless and well maintained. I’d happily return and definitely recommend it to others.

Booked Tea Heritage for our anniversary and honestly… my wife was stoked! As soon as we walked in, we knew we’d hit the jackpot. The suite was massive , proper roomy , with floor-to-ceiling glass that gave us unreal views of the mountains. Felt like waking up in a dream. The whole place has this fresh, modern vibe, but it’s tucked in the middle of nature, so you’re completely surrounded by lush green beauty. Every night, we even spotted fireflies dancing outside ,haven’t seen those since we were kids! Gave us full-on goosebumps. Then came the cherry on top – a candlelit dinner under the stars just for us. No other guests, just the two of us and the sky above. Pure romance. Felt like we were on the set of a movie. And the food? Next level. Most of it came straight from their own garden – how good’s that? Dinu, the chef and co-host, whipped up some mouthwatering homemade Sri Lankan dishes that we’re still dreaming about. Everything tasted like it was made with love – and a bit of firewood magic. Don’t even get me started on the pool – absolutely huge, with views to die for. The best bit? They only host one couple at a time, so we had the whole place to ourselves. Talk about VIP treatment! If you’re chasing something quiet, romantic, and a bit fancy without being stuffy, this is it. Tea Heritage isn’t just a stay – it’s a memory-maker. 10/10 from us.

Rainbow Villa ligger i Mahiyangana. Der er gratis wi-fi og privat parkering på stedet. My wife and I spent two days at Rainbow Villa in Mahiyangana. It was a very nice accommodation. There were large rooms with beautiful fresh air conditioning. There were several special places that could be visited on foot from the accommodation. This accommodation had a beautiful kitchen. There were all the ingredients to make tea. This villa had the ability to cook food. We also got clean drinking water. The washroom in this villa was a place where we could clean our minds. The water in the bathroom was also good. There was hot water in the bathroom. The Mahiyangana Rajamaha Viharaya was within walking distance. Since the Mahiyangana Sorabora Lake was located very close to this villa, we were able to take a bath. The owner of this villa was very humble and kind and provided us with all the facilities we needed with a smile. We had good security. We got the food we needed very deliciously. The past two days are a beautiful memory that will never be forgotten in life. We will come back to Rainbow Villa soon. Thank you for all the hospitality. We recommend Rainbow Villa as the best place to get accommodation in Mahayanganaya with confidence.
