It's a beautiful and spacious house with a lovely view of the surrounding natural area with many bats flying around at night, which was amazing to see. We were greeted with welcome drinks and were happy that they arrved dinner until 10pm. We only stayed a night but would have loved to stay longer. Highly recommend!

We loved it so much that we kept extending. It was, therefore, an obvious choice for our 2nd visit. The constant dedication and quality service provided by our friendly hosts and staff will always be a winner in our book. We have become good friends, and just like last year, we keep extending. If you're looking for comfort accompanied by great, friendly service at a very affordable price, this is unbeatable. Rohan and his staff take such excellent care of their guests that you'll immediately feel at home. From the delicious breakfasts, fruit juice during the day, to cleaning and keeping their accommodations well taken care of, they constantly cater for whatever you may need or want. The location is outside town, about 15 min by tuk tuk, on the hills, surrounded by lush greens. The observation deck near the room, cum dining room offers a wonderful view of the area and is my favorite spot for my early morning coffee, admiring the many colorful birds, kingfishers, hawks and eagles surrounding us. At night, flying foxes keep us company, as well as the fireflies. The lake is about a 20 min walk from the residence, using the shortcut. The owners have 3 big cuddly dogs and 1 beautiful fluffy Kitty. They're kept downstairs, while the guestrooms are upstairs. If you indicate to the owner that they may present a problem to you, he will make sure that their pets never interact with you. We love them all, so we are always happy to see them when they come up to greet us. Thank you, Rohan, Anusha, and their staff for making our stay so enjoyable despite this year's bad weather. We wish we could stay here longer.

Located in Kandy, Mountbatten Bungalow- Thema Collection - Kandy welcomes guests with an outdoor swimming pool and a spacious sun terrace. You will be lost in the forest after 15 minutes drive from Kandy. You will see the mountains, you will hear the birds when you wake up. The hotel provided an extra bad for our daughter - nice. The ambience and welcome were in colonial tradition. We had the 7 course dinner which was good after a relaxing day at the pool. Women in traditional dresses were collecting tea leaves from a small tea plantation in front of our chalet.

We usually go for budget-friendly hotels, but this time we were searching for something exclusive, picturesque, and with a good vibe. That’s when we found Tea Heritage and it was everything we hoped for and more. We absolutely loved their “one couple at a time” policy. It was just the two of us in the entire property it felt like our own private resort. The suite was by far the largest bedroom and living room we stayed in during our entire trip. It’s not just a room, it’s a full-on glass pavilion with stunning mountain views. And the private pool the biggest we've ever had to ourselves was a dream. The host personally took us to a hidden sunset spot just a short walk away, and it was breathtaking. We're into yoga, and they even arranged a private yoga session with a teacher just for us. We also booked an Ayurvedic massage, and it was absolutely fabulous deeply relaxing and authentic. This place gave us privacy, nature, luxury, and a warm, personal touch. We’ll definitely be coming back next time. Tea Heritage is a rare gem a truly private and unforgettable escape.

It was a very nice accommodation. There were large rooms with beautiful fresh air conditioning. There were several special places that could be visited on foot from the accommodation. This accommodation had a beautiful kitchen. There were all the ingredients to make tea. This villa had the ability to cook food. We also got clean drinking water. The washroom in this villa was a place where we could clean our minds. The water in the bathroom was also good. There was hot water in the bathroom. The Mahiyangana Rajamaha Viharaya was within walking distance. Since the Mahiyangana Sorabora Lake was located very close to this villa, we were able to take a bath. The owner of this villa was very humble and kind and provided us with all the facilities we needed with a smile. We had good security. We got the food we needed very deliciously. The past two days are a beautiful memory that will never be forgotten in life. We will come back to Rainbow Villa soon. Thank you for all the hospitality. We recommend Rainbow Villa as the best place to get accommodation in Mahayanganaya with confidence.
