The host Ruwan is super friendly and always happy to help! My dad got sick and he took us to the doctor and sorted everything out. He is also very chatty, wants to share all his knowledge about Mirissa and goes out of his way to make sure you have a great time.

Vinis family was absolutely friendly and helpful. Very good home made food. Vini is excellent ranger and guide. Nothing fancy, but excellent base for walks in sinharaja.

Amazing peaceful spot to base yourself near Mirissa and Weligama. Surf spot and turtle watching right out the front too. Rooms were really nice and the pool was amazing. Great places to eat and drinks within walking distance and a short tuk tuk ride to the beaches for swimming.

I enjoyed my stay at this amazing boutique hotel to the max! The reception and service staff were extraordinarily kind and attentive. The seafood platter (special thanks to Chef Gershan for preparing a seafood platter for me!) will be unforgettable. Staying so close to the seaside had a unique charm and the seawater scent was mesmerizing. The villa was beautifully decorated and the room was spotlessly clean and cosy. Thank you for this magnificent stay, I will surely be back!

A great place set just above the road, offering a private, jungle-like vibe with plenty of tranquility. You’re still within comfortable walking distance of the beach and the local town area, so it feels secluded without being isolated. The property is new, spotless, has excellent Wi-Fi, and the owner is genuinely lovely.

We had an amazing stay at Seaview Mountain Villa. The family who runs the place is incredibly kind and helped us with absolutely everything we needed. The room had a stunning view, air-conditioning, a private bathroom, a fridge, and even a small kitchen. The location is a bit uphill, so expect a short walk — but if you have a scooter, it’s absolutely no problem. We originally planned to stay only 2 nights, but thanks to the family’s hospitality and warm approach, we ended up staying 5 nights. We highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy Mirissa while having a home-like environment with a family that truly makes you feel like one of their own. ❤️
