We had breakfasts at the property. We also had dinner prepared for us, our laundry done and packed snacks for the train ride to Kandy - all at a very reasonable extra cost. Can not recommend this place enough.

From the moment I arrived, the service was impeccable. The staff were incredibly welcoming, professional, and always went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. everyone was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The accommodation itself was top-notch—clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. Every detail, from the bedding to the amenities, reflected a commitment to quality and comfort. The service was excellent. The villa had everything we needed.. The view from swimming pool is beautiful. We arrived in the evening, the host of the villa were great they offered such good service, we had delicious food. Highly recommend this villa.

We were able to wash and dry our clothes, and do our own cooking for some meals. We also explored a nearby viewpoint/lookout and watched some movies that were on the TV provided. Definitely would stay again. Lal, the host, also provided us fruit and soft drinks, which was very kind.

Rustic Cottage is a tree house paradise nestled into the quieter side streets of Ella. The host family are wonderful and looked after me so well. The accommodation itself is one of a kind, the bathroom is one of a kind, and the whole place is very unique. The views are amazing and the breakfast too! I'd 100% recommend you stay here.
