Maduranga and his wife were exceptional hosts. They were both very warm, kind and friendly. I got caught in heavy rainfall and Maduranga offered to bring me an umbrella. His wife also made a home remedy for me to treat some insect bites that I had. The breakfast was abundant and varied and saw me through to way past lunchtime. The shower was excellent with hot water and the cleanliness of the room impeccable. A few days after my stay, he also checked in to see where I was and if I was ok. I highly recommend this homestay.

Rooms were large, clean and with great views of the valley. Service was top notch with host Priyanga making herself available for all requests. Breakfast was superb! Highly recommended!

The place is beautiful with a peaceful environment, and the food was excellent, especially the breakfast with fresh local fruits. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was large, the bed was very comfortable, and everything was clean and tidy, which made the stay very relaxing. The house is located very close to Ella city less than 10 minutes away and it’s easy to find affordable taxi and 24-hour tuk-tuk services. This place gave me unforgettable memories, and I definitely want to come again. I highly recommend this house for families and couples looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

From the moment I arrived, the service was impeccable. The staff were incredibly welcoming, professional, and always went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. everyone was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The accommodation itself was top-notch—clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. Every detail, from the bedding to the amenities, reflected a commitment to quality and comfort. It felt more like a home away from home than just a hotel rooms.definitely we will back.

For guests with children, the villa offers a baby safety gate. A bicycle rental service is available at The Palace Eco Cottage. Wonderful new cottage, close to Ella, but far enough from its noise and air pollution. Surrounded by lush greenery, we were waking up to birds chirping. The hosts are the sweetest and most caring people! They were always there for us, went above and beyond and treated us like we were a part of the family. Couldn’t recommend them enough!

The family was lovely and prepared an amazing breakfast and lunch for us; one of the best food we ate in Sri Lanka! The room was spacious and clean. Ella can be quite hectic, so it was nice to have a accomodation a bit further out in nature where you could relax. You can even spot some monkeys. You can easily walk towards the town following the traintracks, which is around 15/20 min walking. The family is amazing and really want you to have a lovely time! We definitely enjoyed our stay here!

The service was excellent. The villa had everything we needed.. The view from swimming pool is beautiful. We arrived in the evening, the host of the villa were great they offered such good service, we had delicious food. Highly recommend this villa.
