He arranged an incredible dinner for us (his mother cooked) and the breakfast was also awesome. He also played some UNO almost until midnight with us and we talked a lot about stuff in Sri Lanka and Yala especially. The vila is big and beautiful, the rooms are completely soundproof (the massive doors help a lot). Udara also hosts three snakes in a tree in the garden and they are so small and beautiful, and also harmless. He also went with us to a temple nearby and explained the history of it. Thank you for having us!

This is the best place we have stayed so far in Sri Lanka! The couple who own it are so friendly and helpful. They welcomed us with a delicious passionfruit juice which we could enjoy in the beautiful garden. It’s so peaceful here, and you can see peacocks and varan lizards roaming around. The cabana is really nice and comfortable. The bed is comfy and the AC works. The bathroom was very spacious and everything was clean. There is even a fridge in the room which was handy. We also did our safari through them and Gayan was an amazing and very knowledgeable guide! Breakfast is also great. If we ever return to Sri Lanka we will definitely come back here!

This villa was beautiful and huge with a great pool. Fahim was great for helping us organise a driver, safari tour and meals. The owner Sabirah was also amazing at setting everything up.

The whole area, with the watch tower, the peacocks and everything was just perfect. But what makes this stay one of a kind is the incredible service by Anusha. The villa serves a buffet and à la carte breakfast and breakfast in the room is also available. We enjoyed our stay in the tree house. The main treehouse room wasn’t available but the other house was. It was so nice hearing all the birds and animal sounds overnight. The breakfast was simple. There was secure parking for the rented tuktuk. The garden and attention to detail was impressive. We went for a run to the lake in the morning.
