Property is incredible, just as beautiful as photos. Air conditioning was great and location was perfect. Best part of this property was the host Ahmed who was so helpful to us the entire stay, organised all our transport for our time in Tangier and made sure getting in and out of the property was seamless for us. I can’t recommend a Ahmed and this property enough to anyone who wants to stay in Tangier.

Food was excellent and lots of it! The apartment was very clean, comfortable, peaceful with a great view! The walk to town is about 20 minutes down and 35 minutes back up. Its not bad at all, but hot in the afternoon and if you are out of shape...frequent pauses. That distance did put you in a perfect peaceful spot with a spectacular view of the city and the mountains around. We came here after the confusion and challenge of Fez and this was a much appreciated retreat! Highly recommend!

We felt so privileged to spend our Xmas in this beautiful, historic building. The riad’s location, close to the hussle and bustle of Chefchaouen’s extraordinary narrow blue lanes, makes the graceful calm of the interior all the more surprising and welcoming. This really is a tranquil retreat with trickling fountain and tasteful art works and furniture. Full of surprises, the sunny roof terrace was a perfect sun trap and there is even a good quality table tennis table hidden on another terrace. But most of all this is a lavishly renovated family home, filled with echoes of its historic past and yet really comfortable for family travel in 2024. The staff are so welcoming and breakfast is an art work and culinary delight! As you can probably tell we absolutely loved our short time in Lalla Ghatya and I’m sure you will too!!!

There's clearly so much love and care put into this place with the owner having done a lot of the work himself. Beautiful art, so much attention to detail. The kitchen is ready for cooking (just make sure you turn the gas on under the sink 😄) There are no doors, but curtains give privacy in this open-air home with a dining/front room, bedroom with very firm mattress, large closet area with room for hanging clothes, large bathroom with plenty of shelves and space for putting your products. There's another large room that was lovely for drinking my tea in the morning and working on my laptop. It has two twin beds in it plus a big sofa bed and the door opens right into a small courtyard. The owner, Abdul, lives upstairs and he is kind and helpful. The management company, Kasbah's Keys, was very responsive and professional. Marcine, who met me at the property was also very helpful. The location is great. It's near the palace and you can also walk down to the sea. There is fresh bread sold on the corner. You can walk to Café Hafa and the Kasbah. I loved staying there and wanted to stay longer, but the place was booked. No complaints, but a fan, for airflow, would be a lovely addition. 😄

IIt is located in the old ciity. The house has a view of the ocean form the roof top deck. Our host helped us with what to do and told us if we needed ay help to contact her. She was super easy to work with.
