The owners are very kind and available for anything. They give us also coffee when we arrive there. There was the possibility of using the kitchen, also with everything necessary, and the outdoor swimming pool kept clean, with deckchairs for customers. In Mauritius the best accommodation we found. Only 1.5km from the metro stop with which you can get to the capital Port Louis or Quatre Bornes where there are all the buses to move to other areas of the island. A characteristic neighborhood with few tourists and close to many mountains for those who love trekking.

Beautiful villa with 3 bedroom, kitchen, parking space and all the necessary appliances (only thing that we had to buy was toilet paper). Internet worked very well. Good location if you have a car and want to travel arround the island. Special thanks to the host for his hospitality and availability. We will have the best memories from Mauritius! :)

Joubarbe is by the hill side & that makes the weather there just amazing. It was so cool & windy, totally loved it! Felt comfortable and @home. Rooms are as good as hotel rooms with a cute sit- out area. I particularly liked the shower area which is designed at a lower level with no spilling out and leakage of water into the other part of the bathroom. This is very convenient especially if you are somebody who doesn't like mess around in the bathroom. Often, even premium hotels &resorts fail to take care of such small but valuable details. 🚿 Also, this place is reasonably priced according to me & Nicole (the land lady) helped me with cab bookings at very reasonable pricing so I didn't have to worry about being swindled by taxi drivers. She also guided me for cruise and other bookings, it was really helpful as I was travelling solo & completely on my own. She was gracious enough to keep a check on me every evening. I thank her from my heart ❤️ Food was great too, just like home. Never forget to pay visits to the beautiful ducks just by the side of the fence🦆. Them & their quacking will fill your heart with warmth!
