Right next to the plaza, playground, little jumping place for kids. Short distance to beach and great food options. Also the private yard with the pool felt like an oasis after the heat at the beach. No problem parking right in front in the street. Really enjoyed the authenticity and care that was put into this historic building. It was like staying in a beautiful museum. And the location was perfect for walking the entire town and coming back for a dip in the pool when the weather got too hot in the afternoons. We debated coming to Izamal and it ended up being the most picturesque place on our entire trip.
