My recent stay at Canyon Guest House in Jabal Shams was nothing short of fantastic. Having previously visited Jabal Shams and stayed elsewhere, I was eager to try this highly-rated option, and it exceeded my expectations. The location is perfect for exploring the area. It's conveniently situated, making it easy to access the various hiking trails and viewpoints that Jabal Shams has to offer. Being close to Al Hamra Village is also a plus for picking up any necessities. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing a welcome respite after a day of hiking. The beds were comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep, which is essential when you're tackling the mountain trails. While I didn't use all the facilities, the guesthouse offered a range of amenities that added to the overall experience. Mr. Ahmed Al Khatri makes sure everything went perfect for us ❤️ The host Roshan was extremely supportive. He was very welcoming and helped us with our luggage. Asked us how much water needs to be filled in the swimming pool so that the kids are comfortable. The property was so green, mango trees were filled with ripe mangoes, banana trees, date trees and to add it up it was raining which made it more magical. The property was clean, impeccable and the fridge had mangoes and dates for us. Even the kitchen is filled with utensils so for a family you are not far away from your home

The kitchen is well-equipped, and the beds (mattresses on the floor) were super comfortable. There was also heating, which was necessary for the cold nights! Overall a great experience.
