However, the place is good and close to the seaside.

I loved the accommodations! Very clean, very cozy and all the essentials were made available. I loved the sounds of the howler monkeys, the local song birds (and yes, the roosters too!) and the torrential rain that came one night.

Bocas Garden Lodges in Bocas del Toro provides adults-only accommodation with a garden and barbecue facilities. With inner courtyard views, this accommodation offers a patio. The holiday home provides rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. The accommodation is beautiful and the lodge really feels like part of the jungle it's surrounded by. Although it's far enough from Bocas Town to be peaceful, there are still enough options for food and drink to keep things varied. The lodge comes with an outdoor kitchen area, which makes for a great place to have breakfast or to lounge and take in the surrounding nature. There's also a communal area with a large table and barbecue for communal meals if you prefer. A really nice, three minute walk away there are also a couple of options for eating out, including Ciao Pizza (serving Neapolitan style pizza in the jungle) and Skully's bar/restaurant/quad bike hire/local institution. The lodge will even let you hire a bike for the day if you want to venture further afield. Our host, Flo, was really helpful. He went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything we needed to be comfortable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this lodge, island or host to anyone. :)

The villa consists of 2 bedrooms, a living room, a fully equipped kitchen with a toaster and a coffee machine, and 2 bathrooms with a walk-in shower and free toiletries. Guests can take in the views of the sea from the balcony, which also has outdoor furniture. Additional in-room amenities include wine or champagne. The house was very well decorated and finished to a high standard. The reef around it was beautiful, we seen a spotted eagle ray, octopus, moray, barracuda, toadfish, and more while snorkelling. Very peaceful, the owners live close by and stocked up the mini fridge within minutes of us asking. There was also the offer of breakfast and a 3 course dinner, which we didn't take, but in hindsight, might have made the trip even better. Wonderful 2 nights and would highly recommend. There was drinking water provided, warm showers, a toaster and a gas hob and the hosts were in contact before and during my visit, so i could find out anything i needed to know in advance.

The location, facilities, cleanliness - everything. Beds are comfortable, air con is available but not necessary. The hosts are the best thing - they are kind, generous, wonderful people. So friendly but not intrusive, they gave us so much information about Bocas and Panama, they made sure we had everything we needed for a truly wonderful stay. The holiday home has a public bath and full-day security. The experience here was overall nice, you have this small cabin in the middle of a jungly area, and access to pool and gym. In the cabin there are all amenities you would find in an apartment, with full kitchen. We liked that it felt remote and during the night you could hear the jungle animal noises. relaxing and calm environment.

Activities such as snorkelling, cycling, hiking can be enjoyed in the surroundings, and guests can relax along the beachfront. Walking tours can be enjoyed nearby. I do like boat Hauses... you sleep here with the waves... the house itself is decorated by Claudine an artist from Montreal... ver, warm welcomed and had a fantastic stay

The kitchen is beautiful and has sea views, there are shaded patio spaces, and the couch in the living room pulls out to make the perfect kid bed! definitely will stay again.
