Birdy House was a delightful stay, we loved it the moment we opened the front door off the quiet cobblestoned street… it’s beautifully decorated with attention to details. It had just about everything we needed for an 11 day stay…some kitchen cooking condiments, (check the cupboards before you head off to the market), close to walk everything, lots of restaurants and shopping, a cute little patio…and quiet at night.

The property has a traditional appearance on the outside, but is very modern and well designed inside. Perfect location for facilities and sight seeing in Faro. The property was immaculately clean upon arrival and the owner was friendly, informative and easy to contact. There is a nice cafe literally a few doors down the road.

Located 8.2 km from Almancil, 14.8 km from Faro and only 8.9 km from the Church of São Lourenço, Monte Borboleta offers accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Incredible host who was so accommodating. Gave some excellent recommendations and was always on hand. Beautiful place to stay! A little out of Faro but very easy to grab an Uber and travel to wherever you wanted to go. Ubers were also very reasonable.
