Really nice and big house in the middle of the owners banana fields. The view and quietness was amazing. Each room was big on its own and the kitchen had everything to cook and season. The owner even brought us fresh peaches and bananas right from the trees for breakfast.

The house is modern and very clean. The living room is spacious, the outside area is lovely and quiet. The breakfast delivery service was fantastic! We found a bunch of things in the fridge upon arrival (juice, milk, cheese, butter, jam, eggs, etc), and bread and pastries were delivered every morning. We loved this aspect of our stay!

Meublé de tourisme "Au bord de la Mare" offers accommodation in Salazie. The property boasts views of the mountain and is 4 km from Cirque de Salazie. The property was really easy to find. Sylvie and Jean Max went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Our flight was delayed and they even bought some basic food stuff for us. This is the perfect location to explore the Salazie/Hell-bourg area as well as all the walking trails. They even booked a restaurant for us, as we don't speak french.
