The location might be a hit or miss depending on what you are looking for - we came to spend a few days in Tropical Garden Self-Catering after we had already spent a week on Praslin and La Digue in accomodations located near the ocean and beaches, so the fact that Tropical Garden is located at a distance from any nearest beach and up in the mountains was not a drawback for us. Quite on the contrary: we noticed that at a higher altitude (around 330 metres ASL) the air in the morning was a bit more fresh and cool than at the sea level. Tropical Garden Self Catering, true to its name, is located within a beautiful garden from which we were encouraged by our hostess to pick starfruit straight from the tree. It has a breathtaking view of the mountains from its balcony. It is spacious and tastefully furnished, clean and cosy. The hostess Flossy is the heart and soul of this place - she gave us the most heartfelt welcome, taking time to explain which beaches are safe to swim, which trails she recommends for hiking, which buses to take to go to Victoria or to the nearest beach she recommends for swimming and snorkelling (Port Launay). When on one day wi-fi stopped working, she was on the phone with us and quickly resolved the issue. She organised a taxi for us, asking the driver on our behalf to take us to the hypermarket in Victoria and wait for us while we did our grocery shopping before taking us to the accomodation. We did not rent a car on Mahe and still managed to see most of the island travelling by bus - the bus stop is located witihin about 8 minutes walking distance from the accomodation. You just need to devote some time to study the SPTC bus schedule but once you decode it, there is no stopping you from seeing every corner of Mahe!

Our room was very clean and comfortable and it had a great balcony overlooking the ocean and the surrounding hills. We had many cups of coffee on that balcony during mornings. And we spent a lot of time hanging out there in the evenings. The host Daphne is very welcoming and helpful woman. She helped us to book a boat tour, helped us to hire a car. She was always ready to do something to make our stay comfortable. Her husband drove us to the airport when it was time to leave the island. The villa is 10-minute away from one of the best beaches on the Mahé island.

A microwave, a toaster and fridge are also provided, as well as a coffee machine and a kettle. At the villa complex, every unit includes bed linen and towels. Me and my now fiancée stayed for two weeks in villa 1 at Bois Joli and I have to say it is one of our best decisions ever. The nature is beautiful, it is quiet and somewhat remote, but with a car you can get anywhere in a short time. Mahé is small so this is not a problem. But what really completed the holiday were the hosts of Bois Joli! Judith and Richard are the perfect hosts. They take privacy into account, but are also open to a chat, are happy to help you get around and also give recommendations about the island. Judith even surprised us twice with some homemade delicacies! It was the perfect holiday thanks to them! Furthermore, the villa is cleaned every day and we found it clean at the beginning. Everything is absolutely perfect!

Located in Au Cap and only a few steps from Turtle Bay Beach, Cap-sud self catering provides accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. This holiday home features air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. Bessy is such a sweet host. We were allowed to drop off our bags earlier, as we were way too early for check-in. She also helpedbus book a cab to the airport on our last day, and we were allowed to do laundry! One day she also offered us fresh fruit from the garden, which all tasted amazing. The skins could be fed to the tortoises out in the garden. The apartment itself was amazingly spacious. A comfortable couch for the evenings, a massive kitchen with anything you will ever need, 2 balconies and a very large bedroom with en suite bathroom. Airconditioning in both living room and bedroom made these areas very comfortable when staying in one of these rooms. The location of the apartment is oerfect for getting around the island. We didn't have a car, but there are bus stops at the end of the road so you can get anywhere you want. Also nice restaurants and craft brewery within walking distance, which we really recommend! Takamaka and Craft Village are also nearby.

Perfect location - the view from the both balconies (I attached one of our pictures) worth every single cent. All sunsets would shine for you only. Quiet place with no noise from the hotels or restaurants, in the morning you enjoy the birds’ songs. Comfy beds, furnished kitchen to cook all you want (we personally cooked fish every day), two nice balconies to enjoy views with a glass of your favorite drink. On top of all, our host Gilles and one of his sons Kenji, who manages the property despite his young age, were unbelievably kind and did their best to let us have the best holidays ever! They would assist you in all stuff from taking the car in rental to driving you to the place you need to go to if you have no car. They brought us local fruit from their garden as a warm welcoming; nice gifts for Christmas and then the New year eve. Kenji turned out to be very friendly and kind man, who made our vacation even better thanks to his sense of humour and outgoing personality. When our daughter caught a cold, he immediately went to the garden and picked some lemongrass (they have all sorts of useful herbs growing nearby), we made tea with it and it helped her a lot to recover. We highly recommend choosing this fantastic guesthouse to stay and we 100% choose it again for our next holiday in Seychelles.

It’s family who owns and run the establishment and they will accommodate you with pick up service to and from wherever you’d like to go for a fair price. Dee and Johnathan were so polite, professional and friendly. Great overall stay…..and that pool was amazing. The views The views and wow the views!!

The villa offers a barbecue. Amazing stay in the peaceful place for the vacation as well as for the remote work. Annalise was attentive and helped us with our questions, coocked us the most delicious fish in a garlic souce as well as chicken in curry. Cleaning was done perfectly with attention to each detail and towels changing. The villa was cozy with a well-equipped kitchen, a comfortable bed, an air conditioner, and a big terrace with a beautiful view. The location was perfect. It's around 10 minutes' drive to the Petite Anse Beach - one of the most beautiful in the island - we started almost each morning there (we were almost alone in the beach at this time). Another beautiful beach Baie Lazare just 5 minutes drive. To the famous Copolia Trail is about 40 minutes by car. The minumarket is in 10 minutes walk. In the nearby village you can taste delicious seychells street food. The best pizza on the island is in Dzayapizza, and you can make an order with a delivery to the apartment. We had a great stay in the Annalise's villa and defenetly recommend this place.

Villa Kordia is located at Pointe aux Sel and offers Creole styled accommodation in landscaped garden, just 5 minutes’ drive from Anse Royale. The Seychelles Airport is 8 km away.

The villas have a living area, a fully equipped kitchen, outdoor areas and are equipped with satellite TV, air conditioning and ceiling fans. The bathrooms are fitted with a shower and hairdryer. The location was by far our favorite part. We had a car which we rented for such a good price from the owners who also came to talk to us personally and meet us, show us the fruit in the garden and clean and chop it for us to eat and gave us curry leave to use. So so personal. And Denise the manager was always there to help. Such a lovely woman. Bought fruit from the rasta next door who looks after the garden. Best coconuts so sweet. As I said we rented a car and drove about the whole island many times. Besides anse Solei beach which was magical the fairyland beach was lovely and the beach across from us so serine. Probably wouldn't stay anywhere else if I was going back
