He also gave us some tips about the area. He even invited us to pick anything that was growing in the garden. The property has a wonderful, lush garden, a small outdoor play area for kids which includes swings, which my daughter loves. The house is so nicely kept, the veranda towards the garden was a great place to relax and look at the lake and beautiful garden plants. Great privacy due to all the plants :) Inside, the little kitchen has everything you could need, there are a lot of interesting games in the living room and the bathroom is clean and has a window, so it is easy to freshen the air and avoid dampness. The bedroom was enough for us 3 and my daughter loved the bunk bed, of course. We still needed a bit of heat and there was no problem, the elements worked very well.

The cottage is a bit older, but very cosy and nicely equipped. The decorations are thoroughly chosen, the bed is super comfortable and the small kitchen has all you need. We loved the Sauna And with all the animals around it was an amazing short stay for us.

So peaceful and relaxing, in a nature reserve and a few minutes walk from the Baltic Sea. Anki and Ulf were fantastic hosts, even picking us up from and dropping us back at the train station as we had no transport. We had food and drink left for us so didn’t have to buy much. So thoughtful. It’s also not far from Kolmården zoo, which I recommend visiting. I wish we could’ve stayed longer!
