Baan Nern Khao Resort Pattaya ligger 26 km fra Eastern Star Golf Course og tilbyder en udendørs swimmingpool og en have samt indkvartering med aircondition, balkon og gratis wi-fi. The place is amazing a lot of time, thought and effort has gone into designing the complex. Breakfast is simple but has everything you need: cereal, toast, fruit, coffee, tea, orange juice, and nice hot soup with rice if you like in a nice communal area for people to meet and mingle, with a lovely little garden waterfall pond area. The staff try their upmost to help you even by using their phone with the translation app. The owners are a lovely couple she is Thai and he is Australian, so if you need anything in English and you can’t sort it out with the staff he will always sort it. We came home late one night and all the fuel garages were shut. Spoke to him and he sent one of the boys down to grab us some fuel so we can get back to a garage, so helpful and she tried to organise us a cab on our first day and she couldn’t get one, so she got in the car and drove us 20 minutes into Jomtien Beach. It’s about 20 minutes out from Jomtien Beach, but it’s all highway/motorway so it’s very easy travelling in and out. If you want to go into Pattaya you can catch a tuk-tuk from Jomtien Beach to Soi 6 Pattaya city for 10 Baht which takes 30 minutes and catch it back from Walking St, Police are everywhere pulling tourists over for drink-driving at night, so be careful as it will cost you 2000 to 4000 baht to be released. If you have a car or bikes to get around this is the ideal spot to stay while exploring the region. It’s a super homey place, the pool is excellent and the rooms are very good. Incredible value for money (if you know what you’re doing).

We even tried the traditional Thai breakfast, which was full of flavour. The pool was fantastic, looks inviting and was so refreshing, after a humid day. We enjoyed our conversations with Blaine and would recommend a stay at Siam Court to anyone heading to Pattaya. We particularly liked the location as it was so close to the Nong Nooch Tropical Gardens, a definite must see when you visit this region.
