This property was absolutely stunning. Beautifully furnished with attention to the small details. We were extremely impressed from arrival to departure. Ina and James left us some goodies on arrival with welcome chocolates and body lotions left on the bed for us aswell as wine in the fridge and snacks. The local wildlife (antelope, warthogs and zebra) came to visit and were extremely friendly. Kruger park is right next to this property and you can meet giraffes on the short walk down to the fence. Our hosts were impeccable and showed us how amazing African hospitality is and we will definitely return in the future. Thank you to both Ina and James for an African dream come true.

The location is perfect—just a short drive to the Kruger gates. The house was cozy and comfortable, and the pool was clean and refreshing, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Anton was an incredible host—friendly, attentive, and always available to answer our questions. A special highlight was the welcome from the warthog family, which made our stay even more memorable! Highly recommend Giraffe Plains for anyone looking for a comfortable and well-located stay near Kruger. We would definitely return!

Set 1.7 km from Elephant Whispers Sanctuary, Bergdale Cottages offers accommodation with a terrace, as well as a BBQ facilities and a garden. We loved everything! A beautiful, tranquil location. It's a beautiful farm with the most adorable animals. The room was spectacular. Big, neat, well equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The owner is super friendly, too l. We'll definitely be back again.
