Seville is a city that lends itself perfectly to just wandering around and soaking up the atmosphere. And there is plenty of atmosphere to be soaked up.
People watching is very much a pastime here, and all over Seville restaurants teem with well-heeled locals enjoying a laidback coffee or cerveza under the shade of a citrus tree.
The city also has its fair share of must-see sights. Top of the list is Plaza de España whose monumental, semi-circular building is elaborately decorated with Andalusian tiles. Also typically Andalusian is the Seville Bull Ring, though what goes on inside may not be to everyone’s taste. The resting place of Christopher Columbus, UNESCO World Heritage-listed Seville Cathedral is an awe-inspiring structure whose vast vaults provide welcome relief from the heat of the day.
But it’s after dark that things really start to heat up. Streets pulse to the rhythm of flamenco, and with more bars per inhabitant than anywhere else in Europe, there’s no shortage of choice for nightlife.
Just on the outskirts of the city is Seville Airport. Public transport from here provides easy access to the array of Seville hotels, guest houses and apartments that Booking.com has to offer.

The Alcazar simply breathtaking and a must, also lovely cafe with tame peacocks/ducks and quiet garden areas.. Cathedral also worth a visit if only for its vulgarity and ostentation, looks better from the outside! Book in advance for both to avoid the queues. Don't bother with a bus tour, not worth the money. Flamenco also booked in advance but seats not allocated so get there early, Loads of churches to visit but it can take time to find them as streets very convoluted so take a map or use the google thingy. Art Gallery or Museo de Bellas Artes in an interesting building with lovely courtyards to sit in, art mostly religious subjects, works by Zurberan and Murillo. Lots to see in Seville but do plan ahead and take a good map as easy to get lost. Palacio de Labrija very difficult to find and about to give up when we found it; a bit dusty and Dickensian with displays of broken pottery etc mosaics nice and staircase; upstairs only by guided tour and didn't have time to wait for the next one.

Seville is beautiful but if you are right in the centre then it can be expensive and there are so many tourists! ten mins walk away from the Cathedral it all changes and you see real spanish life. Make sure your accommodation is air conditioned.

This is one of the prettiest cities I have visited and I consider myself well traveled. The colors of the jacaranda trees, the bougainvillea, the parks and gardens are superlative.
Walked everywhere admiring all the tile work, the well maintained old buildings and outdoor cafes.
Seville is absolutely gorgeous...not to be missed.

When you arrive at the property you need to ring a specific number which activates the lock on the door and allows you to enter the complex. You then went through to the second courtyard to the lift, go to the first floor and there's a key lock at the door that you're given a code for to access the key. Everything you enter the building, you have to ring the number which is a free call. There are a couple of small supermarkets close by and many restaurants and bars everywhere you go. I'd recommend going to a flamenco show also. We were able to walk just about everywhere and also booked the hop on hop off bus and did the whole loop to get an idea of stops we wanted to explore.

Stay within the city centre so you can easily walk to most of the attractions. Side and back street cafes offer really good quality coffee, tapas and other drinks at very reasonable prices. We took the eco river cruise, which lasted one hour and offered great views of the different boroughs. The west side of the river, Triana district has fantastic riverside bars and cafes plus a superb bustling indoor market just off Puente de Triani, where we had the best tapas.

Beautiful city with a great friendly atmosphere.
Beautiful city with a great friendly atmosphere. Great food and lots of choice. Real Alcazar was the highlight but there were many other buildings and sites to enjoy. One of the best city breaks you could do.
Room cleanliness was exemplary, bed extremely comfortable, spacious room, very good wi-fi and very kindly staff.
Easy to get to the old town, the hotel being next to the subway (2 stops to the centre), tram (T1) and bus stations or by walking, within no more half an hour. From the airport you can take the EA bus (20-30 min to get to the hotel). From San Bernardo train station, which is nearby to the hotel, you can take the train to go to the cities near Seville (Cordoba, Jerez de la Frontera, etc.).
The hotel is located within the old town of Seville and attractions are all within walking distance. The hotel staff was great, friendly and accommodating on the last day my son and daughter was running the Seville half marathon and the hotel staff allowed us to stay with two of the four rooms we rented well past checkout time, allowing them to shower and us having a further explore of the exceptional beautiful Seville. The Hotel has historic value and interest.
We had a pleasant stay at this hotel, during our trip to Spain this was the hotel with the nicest and largest rooms. Comfortable beds, great service and important for me as Sevilla it’s HOT, the A/C was performing fantastic. We enjoyed the pool and the nice snack bar by the pool with the ongoing mist refreshing our table. Walking distance from Betis Stadium. Close to a nice park and neighbourhood with great restaurants. Definitely recommended.
This is a brilliant hotel. I knew it years ago before it was reformed. What a difference! The rooms are spacious, beds the most comfortable I have had in a hotel, lovely toiletries, tea and coffee facilities (not very common in Spain!) Huge TV, lots of little extras that make a difference. The solarium pool and gym are fabulous and the staff could not be more helpful. This is my new go to hotel in Seville now!
We had the apartment no. 10
We had windows and the apartment was clean.
There is a hairblower and a sink in the bedroom.
Hot water shower is working fine (not usual in spain)
We could cook and there's a tv, a ref with freezer and microwave, washing machine, ironing material..
I slept like a baby in that bed, so comfy!
10mins walk to cathedral
This is an amazing place, so much to discover inside the hotel complex, and it's situated right in the old town. The hotel is an architectural museum and has a totally unique atmosphere! The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the piano bar is fantastic. Staying here is truly an integral part of the Seville experience!
Nice little hotel not too far from downtown Seville. Great breakfast buffet! Room was nice and comfortable. They have a private parking garage which is great. We had a nice stay and walked to the old town which is about 20 minutes from the hotel. Hotel is close to many shops, restaurants, and a big mall not too far away.
perfect location for exploring Seville. outstanding staff and attention to detail. beautiful character property. wonderful Spanish guitar hour each evening in courtyard. unlike some hotels during our s Spain trip everything was on offer - kettles, drinks in courtyard etc rather than very limited service due to covid.
Charming boutique hotel in a quiet location in the old town just a few minutes walk from the cathedral. Beautiful spacious room with luxurious bathroom. Service friendly and efficient. Throughly recommend this hotel which was the best we stayed in during a 4 location trip.
We stayed at 3 different hotels over our 7 day trip throughout southern Spain and this hotel was by far the cleanest and nicest. A cold front came through so fortunately the apartment had central heating which is an uncommon commodity is Spain.
Hotel was in the middle of the old town. Excellent for touring especially as we only had the day in Seville.
Staff friendly and hotel had a very homely atmosphere. Recommended by a friend and I would extend the recommendation to others.
Great location in central old town Seville, very close to the action but also a very quiet hotel and very comfortable beds, making for a pleasant stay.
