We found the people friendly and ready to share tips on things we might like to see and do.
The history and culture of the city is great, so much to see and do, whatever your interests.
There are many museums to visit that were free to enter and we had to visit the famous Cavern Club for a little live music... it exceeded our expectations and was something of a highlight.
We arrived by train and found we were able to access all of the main attractions on foot and by using the buses.
Would definitely recommend a short city break to Liverpool to others.

The people of Liverpool were friendly and very helpful.
The people of Liverpool were friendly and very helpful. People would come to me when they saw I needed assistance in finding my way to various venues. The only disappointment was the Wheel that cost £11 each even as a concession price and a complete waste of money, not recommended. The Liver Building 360 degree visit was good but reception should communicate with people with lack of mobility that the visit may be difficult, we paid £17.50 each and my wife had to stop at 10th floor as she could not use the 120-odd steps to the next floor where the viewing gallery was located.

Plenty to see and do.
Plenty to see and do. Beatles and Titanic history attractions, Liverpool wheel and close to the M&S arena if you are going to a show there. Most accessible to wheelchair / mobility scooter users
The location was the main reason I booked this hotel; it is ideally placed for sightseeing, being near Albert Docks, the Pier Head etc. Walking to both cathedrals, the Walker Gallery etc. was easy but for those who find walking difficult the Metro station is underneath the hotel with trains that go to Liverpool Lime Street and also underneath the Mersey to the Wirral and Chester! Liverpool One shopping centre and restaurants are also nearby.
Our room was large and there was an ironing board and iron (not that I needed them).
The staff were really friendly and helpful, especially Ella who wrote down a few suggestions of restaurants and when I asked for any directions she took me down to the street and walked along with me to point the direction I needed. I felt she went way beyond what was expected. A lovely young lady!
The hotel wasn't too far from the city centre and only about a half hour walk from Albert Dock. Lime Street station was less than 5 minutes walk away.
Location great walking distance to city centre and Albert docks. Free parking, very clean, great location. Excellent value for money. Staff really welcoming and friendly. Liverpool has so much to offer in a city great, must do for any Beatle or football fan. Mersey ferry and liver building tours are a must do. City art amazing. Albert dock and Matthew street stunning.

No noise issues for us - even being close to the city centre.
Location good - walking distance to Liverpool One and Albert Docks.
It’s so central! I don’t think I realised from the map how close it was to the docks and the city centre.
The decor in the hotel is lovely! I love the mural behind the bed as well!
THE VIEW OH MY GOD. The view from our room was spectacular. We spent probably too long staring out of the window watching the ferries and the boats. Sensational view!
It was a great location. I liked that it was a 1 minute walk from Anfield Park and it was easy to get buses into the city centre. The staff were so friendly and helpful as were all the Liverpudlians that we met. All areas of the hotel were clean and tidy and you could park in the front driveway
I stayed at this Radison Blu Hotel in Liverpool for one night. The room was very large with a large double bed. The room was very clean and the location close to all ammenties and city centre, including the Albert Docks. Free wi-fi too, which was very fast and really good.
Beautiful hotel with amazing service, food was also fantastic do eat in the restaurant if you stay here. I will definitely return for my next trip to liverpool. Hotel beside the universities 5 mins in a taxi to the city centre/docks costs £6.
Hotel is in a great location for accessing Liverpool City Centre. Hotel staff were very helpful and gave us some local recommendations on places to visit. The room was comfortable and clean. Views over the docks were an added bonus.
Fantastic location and such a great atmosphere. It's loud and buzzing, just what you want from a city centre hotel. The rooms are basic, but clean, friendly staff, great breakfast and door staff on to ensure security late at night
The location was perfect for what I wanted, since it is glued to the ACC Liverpool Convention Center. Also there were many restaurants close to the hotel.
The room was properly clean and the staff were friendly.
Urban Pod Hotel Liverpool exceeded my expectations. The room had recently been redecorated, and the facilities were excellent. The room was clean, and close to the city centre. Would definitely stay again.
Staff were super friendly
Room was spacious and a good sized safe
Best located hotel for sure! Easy walk to the docks and to Liverpool one! Would stay here again!
