This is a lovely, exceptionally clean and comfortable well run hotel with friendly and helpful staff. There is attention to detail everywhere and we loved that there was even a bottle of fresh milk for tea in the fridge in our room. We had dinner and breakfast in the hotel restaurant and our food was, without any exaggeration, perfect.

Close to the train station. Abt 4 mins. Then abt 25min walk to The Baths Hall Theatre. Near to a Wetherspoons pub on the way. Called the Blue Bell Inn. Lovely food & staff. Great place. Heater in the room. Plenty of buses. Near a great museum.

This is not a place to go for a pleasure trip.
This is not a place to go for a pleasure trip. We went to the Baths Hall to see a ballet and we were surprised how good the venue was. We had been a little worried as to what it would be like but we wanted to go to the ballet so took a chance! We would go to that venue again. We had dinner at The Imperial Palace Cantonese restaurant near the Baths Hall and the meal was plentiful and good. I would suggest that there is little of real interest to see in Scunthorpe.

I am originally from the Scunthorpe area (now live in West Yorks), so I am a little biased in praising it, especially as Scunthorpe is always the butt of jokes, it's not actually a bad place to stay/Live. Normanby Hall is worth a visit, and the small village of Alkborough which is 10 miles away which overlooks the Ouse and Humber and has an original Labyrinth and a cafe is worth a visit. The Humber Bridge isnt far away and also worth a visit. Scunthorpe Baths has bands/dances/turns on. There are also plenty of bars and a Wetherspoons
Fabulous location for event we were attending at Baths Hall. Excellent facilities in our room with hob, microwave, coffee machine, fridge etc and plentiful supply of water, coffee, tea , biscuits and milk. Breakfast was amazing - order form to be completed the day before had an excellent choice and no restrictions on what you could order. Salmon and cream cheese bagels were delicious.
The receptionist, which made us getting a room middle in the night at 3 a.m. was perfect. Breakfast at the hotel room was amazing and everything was on, we ordered the day before.
The room was comfortable and the hotel in total nice Designed. The secured parking space in the backyard is also a plus.
Breakfast was excellent, the bed was comfortable and the staff were friendly and efficient. It was our second visit to the hotel and was our venue of choice for the family meal. The meal was excellent and enjoyed by all the family.
The hotel is central for the family and there is ample parking.
Beautiful room with the most amazing copper tub! We loved the spa (the milk bath was a very fun experience) and the breakfast was generous. The house and gardens were beyond expectations. We even had a great night sleep - so peaceful outside of town. Hope to come back soon!
The accomodation was very well setup for people visiting the area for work. Easy parking, good kitchen and shower facilities. Pretty basic but that's all you need for a work trip. Convenient for central Scunthorpe if you wanted to go to any local pubs/shops.
The cleaners & breakfast staff were friendly & warm. The front desk staff were adequate but I didn't feel a great vibe especially when I first arrived. Yeah, they know their job, but do they really value the people who come & stay at their hotel?
Lovely room. Clean and comfortable. Homely atmosphere. Tastefully decorated.
Yvette the owner is friendly and helpful.
When I travel to Scunthorpe on business Larchwood is the only hotel I stay at. I have never been disappointed.
Close to Baths Hall where our show was.
Parking spot outside our window.
Nice and clean room and friendly staff.
Good to have a full fridge, microwave and kettle in our room and the option of using the full kitchen if needed.
Clean room, comfy bed, perfect location for where I needed to be in Scunthorpe. Usually no staff however someone working helped direct me to my door when I went the wrong way. Code locks work well!
Need saucepans and updated toilet roll also towels also full big breakfast.... expand price hotel ...less refunds
