Very welcoming host. Lovely cosy home with the fire lighting when we arrived. Anne made us feel very welcome. Very clean and comfortable room with unsuite bathroom. Anne was very good with recommendations for food and activities locally. Also she cooked a great full Irish breakfast!

We recently stayed at Pure Magic Lodge on Achill Island for two nights, and it was an unforgettable experience. The lodge offers stunning views of the Silvermore Summit from one side and the picturesque Keel Beach from the other, making it a truly magical place to stay.
The accommodations were comfortable and well-maintained, providing a cozy atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with any request and eager to share their knowledge of the local area.
The location is perfect for exploring Achill Island, with easy access to beautiful beaches, hiking trails, and other outdoor activities. Whether you're an adventure seeker or just looking to relax and enjoy the serene landscape, Pure Magic Lodge has something to offer.

A great location, just by the bridge to Achill Island and with great views around. The hotel is relatively basic but surprisingly large and has a very busy bar and restaurant for locals - very friendly. Staff were very welcoming and overall we had a good stay. I'd be happy to go again.

Keel is a beautiful place on Achill Island with amazing beaches stunning views peace & tranquility. The people are very hospitable & friendly. Lovely bar resturant Amesthyst where we dined and had the most delicious meal & drinks. Plenty coffee food trucks and lovely cafe called the Beehive. These were all within walking distance of where we stayed. You can easily cycle or drive around Keel & Achill Island. If you like sheep & baby lambs you won’t be dissapointed they are all over the island 🙂Keem beach is a few miles from Keel and we’ll worth a visit. The scenery was unbelievably beautiful. I felt as though I were on another planet. The free range sheep are everywhere, so drive slowly. They ran right up to my car. We were beyond impressed with the place.The owners met us on arrival and complied 100% with covid regulations We were shown to our suite The place was impeccable, Breakfast next morning was above 5 star.. Service was efficient and personal to a most impressive level. We were served tea and coffee in the garden after breakfast, which was most appreciated, giving us relaxation time on fabulous sun loungers. Keel itself is only a small village without a real centre, but the surrounding countryside is wonderful, dramatic in all weather and a fascinating history. Within a few miles, there are wonderful beeches, hill walking and coffee stops. Surfers have easy access to supervised waters.

We could walk to the end of the road and were greeted by outstanding views of the wild Atlantic! The house had plenty of room for our group of 7 (3 adults, 4 kids) and was clean. Keel beach and Keem beach are fun, clean beaches a short drive away. Keel beach has surfing lessons available which our kids loved! Stunning views and the most welcoming hosts, Clodagh was such a gem and couldn’t do enough for myself and my daughter. Catherine had lovely personalised welcome surprises for us on arrival. The location was perfect as everything was within walking distance within Keel. Would come back and stay again. Some would say it us dated but it was very welcoming for a little cottage in a small beautiful place. Thank you for hosting us and our dog!
