Located in Penneshaw, 29 km from Christmas Cove Marina, CABN Kangaroo Island provides accommodation with a private beach area, free private parking and barbecue facilities. Wonderful place to stay and to connect with the beauty all around. Never got tired of the view. Luxury accommodation, very clean, very helpful and friendly staff. We really appreciated the local delicacies. Thank you!

Situated overlooking the calm waters of Eastern Cove in scenic American River, the Mercure Kangaroo Island Lodge offers a warm friendly welcome and features an award winning restaurant showcasing... American River is a bit out of the way, and KI Lodge is almost as far as you can go before the road ends! We had a superior King Bayview room, which had a nice balcony, 2 decent beds and was tastefully decorated. Its features include tea and coffee making facilities, a fridge, an iron and ironing board, and a room safe. And thank you to the hotel for the “welcome gift” of a bottle of wine and cookies; very thoughtful! There is an a la carte restaurant and a bar, which served food. We chose the latter and were quite happy with the selection of meals available. It has a marked walk in their rear grounds, which we did, and were lucky to see glossy black Cockatoos in the wild. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Also, it's only 40 mins to the ferry, so very convenient.

Aurora Ozone Hotel Kangaroo Island is just 10 minutes' drive from Kingscote Airport. Great place to stay in Kingscote. Good hot water, great location, laundry in the room and a very helpful staff. They gave us a cot when I realized I booked the wrong room. They couldn't have been more helpful

Located in Kingscote, Inna Nutshell offers accommodation with air conditioning and access to a garden. There is a private entrance at the holiday home for the convenience of those who stay. Very comfortable stay, great bed with lovely bedding. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you'd need for cooking. Quiet, nice outdoor area and washer and dryer a great addition.

Situated in Emu Bay, Emu Bay Holiday Homes features self-catering accommodation in 2 cabins, 2 cottages, 3 houses and an apartment. We had a fabulous stay at Emu Bay Holiday Homes. The views from the room are just spectacular - seeing the sunrise and moonrise over the bay is just breathtaking. Super quiet area with koalas and kangaroos on/around the property! Apartment was incredibly clean with everything you would need provided. It's a 15 minute drive to Kingscote and given collision risk to wildlife at night, we took takeaway dinners on our way back before dusk every evening and ate on the little front patio watching the moon rise over the bay - incredibly peaceful and relaxing. Easy to access any part of the island from here including the national park. Thank you to our hosts for a wonderful stay - would highly recommend! Stay here for your KI holiday.

Good sea and valley views, and close to the ocean in a marine conservation habitat. 1. We are centrally located on Kangaroo island to base your stay and tour the whole Island from. 2. Beautiful, tastefully decorated apartment with everything you need. Sparkling clean with a spacious deck and well stocked kitchen. The location is perfect for exploring the island. Many species of birds fly overhead with sweeping views of the ocean below. It was paradise. We would highly recommend this apartment for an extended stay.

Sea Dragon Kangaroo Island is a boutique, adults-only (12+ years) luxury retreat. The 250-acre coastal estate offers stunning ocean views, wildlife and a pristine, secluded beach. Breakfast at Sea Dragon Lodge was the best continental - on arrival in the fridge there bottles of fruit juice, a large crock of butter & big carton of Paris Creek Greek-style yoghurt. In the pantry cupboard there were 2 attractive glass containers with 2 different recipes of muesli - we were told they were made by the cook with oats tossed in Ligurian honey, on one lots of almonds, pecans, pumpkin seeds, & plenty of sultanas, currents & other bits of dried fruit, the other jar featured pieces of coconut, cranberries & other fruits but we preferred the other; there were little jars of Beerenberg jams & marmalade & on the bench was a bowl of fresh fruit & a beautiful sourdough loaf; a new loaf was delivered every other day & other items replenished. The loaves kept really fresh, we brought home the uneaten part of our last loaf, couldn't bear to let it go to waste! Our dinners from the cook were very enjoyable as well, for mains we had great individual chicken & leek pies, lamb shanks, & each had 2 lovely large fillets of King George whiting on our last night. We loved the great views, the private cove a short but steep walk away , bush scenery all around & wildlife visiting us in the mornings & from late afternoon. It was so peaceful & lovely , we enjoyed every minute of our holiday.
