T was a wonderful host and was very friendly. Wonderful and creative environment. Couldn't believe it was a small run business. Loved the atmosphere. Resort had a lot to offer for the price.

A well sread out township and suburb. Fairly tidy.
A well sread out township and suburb. Fairly tidy. Beautiful beaches for surfing and relaxation. A lot of bars/pubs in the main city area that are also family friendly. Plenty of walking spots and green areas. I was only there 1 day and 1 night and would have liked more time to explore. Mostly friendly citizens.

Call a place paradise and kiss it goodbye. PMQ case in point
Call a place paradise and kiss it goodbye. PMQ case in point
Pros
- The beaches would be among the best in the world.
- Greenery
- Nature attractions/urban wildlife
- Improvements on waterfront world class
- Beach walkway from Town to Lighthouse beach amazing.
Cons
- Roads are simply appalling in many places, just pothole covers holding hands and a should be a real embarrassment to local council, though looks in places they have started fixing the problem
- High elderly and low socio-economic population, kind of depressing local population
- Population/development explosion, high rents and tariffs
- Lots of hoons and bogans, exercise vigilance late at night
- Increasingly visible homeless problem
- Town is over promoted and exploited, certainly not a place to "get away from it all" anymore, its got plenty of what you came to escape, best to come outside of public and school holidays, always some pesky "festival" or event going on blocking roads and causing chaos
- Not a quaint fishing/holiday destination anymore
- If you strike a "Red Weed" season on your holiday, any beach-river activities are ruined.
-Service in most establishments is terrible

Happy and helpful staff at motel and EI restaurant.
Happy and helpful staff at motel and EI restaurant. The comfiest bed 🫠 you could ask for and walking distance to river, beach, restaurants and shopping centre. Given Free coffees upon book in for breakfast was a lovely bonus. 😊
Only disappointment was upgraded to balcony for the treat of the view of the river as shown in picture. We had a view of a car park. 😟

The Bowling Club was located at the back of the apartment building and only a short stroll away. Perfect place for dinner. Also love the restaurant at Westport for dinner. We have been there numerous times and never disappointed.
We have stayed in PM numerous times and always love coming back. Great accommodation, walks, beach and cafes. The Sea Acres Rainforest is definitely worth a visit and the food at the Cafe is lovely.

Nice Getaway.
Nice Getaway.
You can do Jet Ski at $240 per hour, and can swap drivers.
Sea Plane ride was good, but not comfortable.
Book a day in advance else you have to come back next day.
One thing is food is expensive in the place.
The location was fantastic it is central to the Port Macquarie CBD there is plenty of food, eateries and walking activities close by. With free parking at the location it made for a relaxing holiday to be able to leave the car and walk around. It is near to The "Break Wall walk" Town Beach and Port Central. The hotel is comfortable and well equipped. The roof top spa is awesome. The WIFI is great and the room is spacious and comfortable
the location of this property is fantastic. Within walking distance to Flynns Beach and driving distance to everything in Port Macquarie. It is a good size with a large kitchen, dining room, living room and a very comfortable king bed. The shower is lovely. We have stayed here several times and always request the same room as we love to sit in bed and look out to the creek/forest area out the back. Our request has always been granted.
Clean, basic modern hotel room with a comfortable bed in a great central location. I chose this hotel as if offered complimentary bikes, which we used for the two days of our stay to explore the beautiful beaches of Port Macquarie. The hotel also had a small pool and spa area overlooking the water. There were heaps of restaurants close by and the city centre shopping district a block away. We had a wonderful stay.
the room was very clean and tidy and there were lots of facilities such as laundry, BBQ and guest kitchen, so for an extended stay, it was good. It is also close to coles shopping, the university and also the hospital.
we stayed here as it was cheap and we had to attend a two-day swimming carnival so basically in and out each day. All we needed was somewhere clean and today with a warm shower and fridge
Very welcoming, Wayne and Lisa were very professional and friendly.
Client care was exceptional.
The premises were immaculate and tidy.
I would recommend Narimba Motel if you are looking for comfort and a quiet location that is a little out of the hub of central Port Macquarie approximately 10 minute drive.
Cheap affordable easy accommodation, good enough for a place to sleep for one night on my road trip from Brisbane to Melbourne.
Staff was accommodating of late check-in.
The place was clean, everyone else who was staying was respectful of everyones personal space and considerate of noise levels.
We initially intended to only stay one night, however had car issues as soon as we arrived in Port Macquarie. Staff were super helpful in extending our stay and keeping us in the same room for our extended stay over a long weekend. Comfy bed, modern bathroom. Safe car park. Easy walk into town.
We paid a premium price for a low quality stay. A room right next to the car park, a bathroom that was mouldy and flooded. Terrible room service food. Overall, we’d be fine with this service/expectation if we hadn’t paid a 5 star price. It’s a 3 star hotel at best.
The location of Sandcastle apartments is superb, it's the perfect location within Port Macquarie. The apartment is within walking distance to new restaurants and cafes are nearby. The apartment was much larger than I expected.
Stayed in the 3 bedroom house, number 14. Caravan park was nice and quiet at night, Close to beach and just out of town. House was spacious and clean. Beds are comfy.
Well managed caravan park with very comfortable cabins. Was impressed by the standard of the cabin, friendliness of the staff and cleanliness of the park and cabin.
Very helpful, polite and friendly staff. Just the type of hotel I was looking for in Port Macquarie and a great location to be close to everything I needed.
Wonderful old hotel, plenty of room and comfy beds. Nice and clean and a great quiet location. Highly recommended for a quick stopover or a short break.
