The hotel is very conveniently located close to a metro station, and you can get to Tokyo station in just 15 minutes. Even thought the space in our room was limited, it was very efficiently designed. It was clean and nice. Extra bonus for guests: free usage of an onsen, which was super nice after a long day of walking!

The capital of Japan, Tokyo is a vast, teeming metropolis nestled between mountains and Tokyo Bay. It’s so huge that you’ll have to come to grips with public transport and maybe even experience being pushed onto a train. Yes, it does actually happen!
Get your bearings by ascending the Tokyo World Trade Centre near the waterfront, and savour the fantastic views taking in the red-and-white Tokyo Tower and Shinkuju’s skyscrapers. North is Ueno, home to the best museums (including the Tokyo National Museum) and a large park bursting with cherry blossom in spring.
Equally tranquil are the Chiyoda Imperial Palace and Gardens, surrounded by water. Also in gardens is the Meiji Jingu Shinto shrine in Shibuya, a youthful district where neon abounds.
For more traditional Japanese culture, head to Asakusa whose Sensō-ji Buddhist temple is Tokyo’s oldest temple. Markets in the grounds sell a variety of wares, though shopping in Tokyo is, of course, fantastic wherever you go.
Whether you stay in a Japanese ryokan, luxury Tokyo hotel or a hostel, don’t fly out of Tokyo Narita Airport or Haneda Airport without having tried sushi. Another Japanese institution is the sento (public bath) and onsen (hot springs bath) – a must try. Also incredibly popular are Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea, Asia’s 2 most visited theme parks.

A huuuuuge city.
A huuuuuge city. For someone from Europe it was interesting to drive the rented car around. Doable :-).
Very beautiful, clean city and very kind people.
If possible, definitely visit and stay as long as you can.
Great location in the middle of Shinjuku, close to bus and subway stations. Also close to Shibuya and to shin-Okubo, the Korean neighborhood. Nice restaurants and convenience stores close by. Clean and nice hotel with a luxurious touch. Nice toiletries., well lit room. Even though the room is quite small it is well distributed and the fact that you can store luggage under the bed is key! If you book this hotel make sure to get the right name/address because there are 2 or 3 APA close to it (this is more like an advice, not an issue!)
Staff were extreme helpful. Brilliant location with close proximity to the Ginza and Asakusa subway lines. We were able to do central Tokyo, Disney, Akihabara, Tokyo Tower, Shinjuku, Shibuya, Ueno easily from this hotel. Breakfast was lovely with a good range and the staff were very accommodating. Room was really clean and a good size for the three of us. Amenities were top notch. We used the coin laundry a few times which was really easy to use and the functionality of seeing which dryers we're free from the room tv was amazing.
The location is excellent. If you go to the main street Yasukuni dori and walk for about 20 minutes, you will get straight to Toho Cinema, the center of Shinjuku. It's always bright and fun there. You can walk until the morning and then return to the hotel on foot, very convenient. The beautiful Shinjuku Goen Park is also near. Shinjuku Station is a 30-minute walk away.
Bed linen is clean, changed daily. There is a socket.
The hotel is not noisy. There is a toilet on the floor. There are separate showers, enough for everyone.
Location is perfect for shopping around Shinjuku district but also good if you want to go to the other major shopping areas. I traveled from airport by taking the limousine bus, the trip was around 100 mins and the NEX at JR Shinjuku station to airport, both are very convenient.
I stayed at economy double for 1st night and move to a twin room when my husband join me, it’s much spacious and of good size for 2 persons.
A lot of restaurants nearby.
The hotel buffet breakfast provided good variety of food
Close to the Shinjuku station, so very easy to access. Typical entertainment area - the famous Godzilla statue cinema is around the corner. The hotel's lounge area is perfect for an otaku: mangas, anime DVDs all over the shelves. The hotel part very clean, less noisier than other capsule hotels. The capsule is plastic, a little bit noisy when you hit accidentally. The bed is fine...but the pillow is super old school japanese hard pillow...but within few minutes you can find out how to use to be comfy.
If youre looking for a quiet area, away from the hustle and bustle of tokyo, this is a good area. Its just right behind Tokyo Big Sight. 2 train station walking distance. Lawson in the 2nd floor. 7/11 across the hotel. Breakfast was interesting (japanese style and western too) Rooms were good size, reason why I picked this hotel. I could pick hotels by shibuya, ginza or shinjuku, but the ones i looked at are half size of sostetsu room we got.
The hotel has a large sign that makes it easy to see from the street. The beds are harder than western ones, which seems to be typical here at least in business hotels, but are still comfortable and large enough for two people. My husband is 6’ 1” and the bed was long enough for him. we really liked how clean the room was. The staff were extremely helpful and check in and check out both went smoothly. We would stay here again.
This was the first of various hotels my husband and I stayed while we were visiting Japan. APA Hotels became my go to and most sought out Hotel in this AMAZING country. Every employee is courteous, the rooms are very clean and stocked with ALL the toiletries needed. Do yourself a favor and do not add more weight to your luggage, ditch your dollar store toiletries because APA has them all! Cant wait to be back
If you're solo travelling look no further than place. Best bang for your buck out there. Capsule hotel so you have some privacy when sleeping. Comes with an artificial hot springs facility. Free food, drinks, coffee and alcohol. The location is perfect too. Right beside Shinjuku train station and Shinjuku itself is where a lot of the nightlife is happening! 10/10 will stay again next time I'm in Tokyo!
We really appreciate the owner’s hospitality. My husband left his thermal clothing and the owner helped and send it to our friend’s address in Japan.
The property is actually conveniently located near Kanda stn, one stop away from Tokyo stn. Next to the property, we can find convenient stores. Not far, can find a lot of good restaurants also.
The plus point is def the washing machine.
Perfect location for enjoying Sakura as the hotel grounds had beautiful gardens, water features, lit up trees and decoration for the Sakura season. It was so stunning - both on the ground level and view from the rooms.
Location is a bit far from the main busy areas of Shinjuku abd Shibuya but easy to get to thr train and go any which direction.
Japanese breakfast buffet was lovely too.
Lovely, clean, well facilitated rooms. very small however it will be the same everywhere in Tokyo, for us it was perfect. The staff were very helpful and polite. Breakfast was good for the price you pay. Much cheaper than UK prices at hotels. Location is good, 15 minute walk max to Shinjuku station. 7 11 3 minutes walk.
It was the dirtiest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in my life, dirtier than a cheap hostel. There were toenail clippings and used tissue next to the bed,, duct tape on the broken window a random pill on the ground, greasy handprints on the mirror … also shinjuku has become so dodge in the past five years, stay in shibuya!
Rooms were bigger than usual for a hotel in Tokyo. Very clean and well kept utensils. Beds were very clean, firm and comfortable. Can move the beds to make one big bed for my husband, myself and my baby. Staff can speak English well, one of them recommended breakfast in the area when we checked out. So good!
Great location, right next to Tokyo sky tree and the river. Bit of a journey on train to Shibuya/Shinjuku but we enjoyed the quieter area. Staff friendly, room comfortable and bigger than our other hotel rooms in Japan. They had a lovely kimono wearing event and tea ceremony event on our first day!
Booked this hotel for my husband to try out a capsule hotel during our stay in Tokyo. He especially liked the bath facilities and enjoyed the steam sauna. The lounge area was a nice bonus and the staff was friendly. The hotel was very clean and the bed was comfortable.
It's a fantastic hotel in a great location. The staff were incredible and always looking out for the customers. Modern facilities, surrounded by a lovely park that made you feel you weren't a 10min walk from Shinjuku Station.
The hotel is only 3 minutes walk from the nearest station and it is about 30 minutes train ride to Shibuya/ Shinjuku, which I think is really good value for money. Comfort, cleanliness and amenities wise are all good.
We loved the location of the hotel, so much more quiet and less crowded than Shibuya/Shinjuku/Ginza. We loved the Sumida River nearby and the park surrounding it. We had a view of Tokyo Skytree! Staff was great too!
Very close to tokyo station, Ueno Zoo, Shibuya, Gundam Base… and to other our places of destination.
They provide mouth wash which is not offered from other hotels I’ve stayed.
