L'Hotel Relais Il Cestello vi aspetta in Piazza del Cestello, accanto alla Chiesa del Cestello, e regala una vista indimenticabile sul Fiume Arno. The hotel is very well situated in a local neighborhood area, but still close to the city center by aprox 13 min walking. The bus stop to Siena - Piazza Tasso is at 9 mins walk. The room was spacious and clean. I checked out and could store my luggage for a couple of hours. The staff and owner were very kind and attentive. If I come back to Florence, I will stay again here. It was a extraordinary stay.

The apartment was very clean and spacious, well furnished and with modern appliances. Isabella, our host met us at the apartment to give us the keys and show us around the apartment. The location is ideal,situated in an older neighborhood with all the amenities, grocery store, butcher, baker/ patisserie,fruit and vegetable store, all within a five minute walk. There are many good restaurants within a 10 or 15 minute walk including a Michelin starred directly below the apartment. All of the major sites of Florence are within a 30 minute walk. We very much enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it.

Great location, on the bank of Arno river, next to bridge Ponte La Carraia, walking distance to main sightseeing. Windows look into courtyard, cozy and very quite. Apartment is well equipped, with coffee machine, dishwasher, washing machine. Our host Paula provided with vey good advises about restaurants close by. We went to Osteria Santo Spirito, food was very delicious. Please book in advance. There is great gelato shop next door on the corner.
