The family-run Ambleside Townhouse is situated in Ambleside, 800 metres from Lake Windermere. It offers en suite rooms and a full English breakfast in the morning. Ambleside Townhouse is a lovely accommodation. The staff was attentive, friendly and helpful. We had a spacious, quiet room with comfy beds and a nice view. Especially in the evenings, we were able to enjoy the sunset. The breakfast was delicious, especially the pancakes and sourdough bread with scrambled eggs and salmon. We enjoyed fantastic hikes in the area.

Westbourne är ett vackert pensionat som ligger i ett lugnt område nedanför Biskey Howe i Lake District. Rummen har duschkabin, lyxiga badprodukter och stora fluffiga handdukar. Clean, tidy, comfy beds, nice amenities, great shower, nice design, space for cloths, very tall bed so you can fit you luggage beneath it (necessary as the room area is small)

Jerichos is a contemporary family-run guest house with stylish decor situated on a quiet side street in the heart of Windermere village. There is free Wi-Fi and free ample private parking. What a beautiful place to stay. Large and very well appointed rooms with everything you could need. Very comfortable large bed . Hosts were so lovely and welcoming and a delicious hot breakfast was included. Free parking as well. 2 minutes walk to the main street of the town. Highly recommended!!

Detta vackra viktorianska hus har ett lugnt läge mellan Windermere och Bowness, bara 1,6 km från Lake Windermere. Rooms were small, but very clean and comfortable. The staff and the breakfast were both excellent.
