Located in Montevideo, in front of the beach Pocitos Beach, Hotel Costanero MGallery provides accommodation with a restaurant, private parking, an outdoor swimming pool and a bar. Buffet breakfast was very good with wide variety of choices. Also the eating area was beautiful with incredible views. Cute main lounge areas and nice bar available for guests. We had a late night pizza from the bar that was FANTASTIC. Front staff were so cheerful and helpful. Always greeted us and asked about our day (remembering what we were going to do), made us reservations, helped us with transportation, loaned us bikes (small fee), etc. Our room was spacious with a great view overlooking the beach and the ocean/river. We left curtains open to enjoy all the time. Area is very safe and has good access to all the sights. I was relieved we had rented in this area versus the old town.

The hotel is a bit further from the city center, but is located in a gated community which is great for security and had beautiful grounds. A relaxing place to arrive after a busy day in the city. We had to leave early in the morning so we couldn't enjoy our included breakfast. Overall, our stay was pleasent. The staff that helped us during our check in was friendly and kind, same as the staff that helped us during our check out. Location-wise, it was perfect, we walked to the restaurantes around the area and we felt safe. Room-wise, everything was perfect, we had been traveling for a month and Own Hotel was the first hotel that gave us enough shampoo and conditioner for both of us. The shower was clean, and the bed was very comfortable.
